Year 11 Chemistry Excursion to Ecolinc Wetland

As part of the Unit 2 Chemistry course, our Year 11 chemistry students visited the Ecolinc Wetland in Bacchus Marsh. Students had to undertake an extended experimental investigation - testing water quality in the Ecolinc wetland - using a variety of data probes to measure variables (including pH, electrical conductivity, dissolved oxygen, nitrates and phosphates) and then compare results with environmental standards.

MFC's year 7 and 10 table Tennis teams are 'Runners up'…

Meadow Fair Year 7 and 10 Table Tennis teams have both finished 2nd in the Northern Metropolitan Regional Finals this term. The competition was the second stage following on from last terms district championships. The Interschool Sports Competition took place at the Coburg Table Tennis Centre. Our teams beat three schools in the group stages to make the finals. Unfortunately, losing out in the finals narrowly.

We congratulate the boys on their fantastic achievements and wish them better luck next year.
